Why Should I Grow My Eyelashes?

Our own eyelashes have an impressive impact on the way our eyes appear to others. Latisse is only approved for the upper eyelashes and is available only through a doctor’s prescription. It works by affecting the growth, or anagen phase of the eyelash hair cycle in two ways. It first increases the length of this phase, giving the hair more time to grow and then it increases the number of hairs in this growth phase. It may cause your eyelid skin to darken, but this is a reversible side effect and it is safe to get some of the product in your eye. Eye soreness and redness are the most common side effects from using Latisse and it should be used daily for 16 weeks before discontinuing.
